Toshiba Gigashot HD
Toshiba introduces with the Gigashot HD a new camcorder range. The Gigashot is a high definition video camera and belongs to the smallest and lightest in the world. With an internal hard disk of maximum 100GB you can record the best video material in 1080i High Definition. Toshiba developed two Gigashot series, the K Series and the A Series. Each camera has a lot of options and delivers high quality images. The A series is just a little bit better and because of that also more expensive.



A & K series
Both series of cameras include a 3-inch colour widescreen (TFT, LCD) on which you can instantly view the recorded image. The Gigashot A series captures interlaced MPEG-4/H.264 video at full 1080i High Definition. The same is done on the K series but with 1280x720 pixels the resolution is lower. For the A series Toshiba uses a 10x optical and 80x digital zoom lens. The K series zoom lens is almost the same with 10x optical and 30x digital zoom.

Integration
The Gigashot camcorders include an SD/SDHC card slot capable of supporting up to 8GB for still image recording. The recorded material can easily be displayed due to a wide range of connectivity options. Including component video, A/V out, USB mini jack and a HDMI port the camcorder can directly be connected to almost any television or computer.
